The RNLI is keen to work in schools with children from pre-school to 6th form and beyond. Talks can be to a whole school or to individual year groups. There is no charge for these visits within the Scarborough area.

Should you be outside the Scarborough area we will still be able to come to you but please make contact and we will discuss the cost.

Talks can be age specific or to the whole school and can also take the form of an interactive lesson. Powerpoint is used to display graphics, photographs and video clips.

Topics covered include History of the RNLI, History of Lifeboats of the RNLI, Current Lifeboats,New Developments, Beach Safety, Water Safety, Lifeguards.
