Visits by groups to our Station

Scarborough Lifeboat Station extends an invitation for any group to visit our station and have a conducted tour. Due to our station being an operational station and the visits team crew being volunteers all group visits have to be booked in advance. Subject to operational requirements visits can be made either during the day time or in the evening on any day of the week. There is no charge for your visit but a donation to assist in our work would be appreciated.

Our lifeboat station was built in the 1940's there is level access around the all weather lifeboat and limited level access around the inshore lifeboat for people suffering from mobility difficulties. we normally use our crew room which is up a flight of steep steps to show a presentation of the work of the RNLI these steps can pose a problem for people who unfortuately have mobility problems.
